Copa Havana Robusto Maduro 5" x 48 $3.95

Silky oily dark maduro wrapper. Easy cut. The gold and pastel blue band with a naked lady is reminicsent of a cuban cigar of the past. Solid construction with a slightly vieny wrapper started with excellent draw and nice dimpled whitish ash. The strong aroma compliments the medium body and plentiful volume this cigar had to offer.

This Copa Havana was surprisingly smooth with a sweetness and earthiness along with a spicey overtone. As my palette adjusted to this volumous cigar, I noticed some creamy nuttiness as well.

Slightly cracked ash held for over an inch, and burned fairly evenly. When I tapped off the ash, it came off in a perfect cylinder.

Toward the lat quarter, it had a slighter tarry buildup. The center of the ash had a slightly brown hue which I have noticed seemed to be present when a cigar gets "tarry". Finish was long, but good. It left a flavor in your mouth that was pleasent.

This cigar is definately a great buy for under $4 and required no aging. I could only image it getting smoother and mellower with age, but there was no harshness or bitterness to it whatsoever.

This is a cigar you should get your hands on and try. I don't know how "rare" it is, but I am going to try and find out, and perhaps pick up some more of these while I can!
